1. Fruit Pies
For couples that love comfort food – especially those getting married around the holidays – fruit pies are a modern alternative. One of the best things about pies is they are a great way to incorporate seasonal, fresh fruit into your dessert bar and pick up on your wedding theme. For example, in June you could offer fresh strawberry rhubarb pies and in October you could offer caramel apple or pumpkin. We seek out the best in locally sourced fruit and produce so our customers have flavorful pies at the peak of freshness.
2. Tarts & Mousse Minis
Tarts are so pretty, and the presentation options are endless: we can make them look classic and elegant or very rustic and homemade depending on the style and formality of your wedding. The flavor combinations for both our tarts and mousse minis are endless. Both are so tasty, very visually appealing on a dessert bar and can incorporate seasonal fruit. YUM.
3. Cookie Table
The possibilities are endless for a cookie table at your wedding! We can do a table featuring “his” and “hers” childhood cookie favorites (think Chocolate Chip for her, Whoopie Pies for him). French macaroons are also a wedding favorite, incorporating a meringue made with almond flour. They can be filled with many different flavors of buttercream or creamy chocolate ganache, in all kinds of colors which is a fun way to keep in theme with your wedding colors. Plus, they are gluten-free!
Frosted sugar cookies decorated with either the bride and groom’s initials, the wedding date or in wedding colors are a nice option for those who want a simple, cost-effective dessert option for their wedding guests.
4. Assorted Mini Cupcakes
A hugely popular wedding item, assorted cupcakes or mini cupcakes can take the place of your wedding cake. Or, if you’d still like to do a traditional cake cutting, you can use a smaller cake and give out “matching” cupcakes to your guests.
6. Cheesecake or Mini Cheesecakes
Cheesecake is a great option for the non-traditionalists who still want to stick with white as a theme in their wedding.
If you still want to have the tradition of cake cutting to be a part of your reception you can have a small display or “cutting” cake on the table with your desserts. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?
